Cups Community Coffee is one of the longest-running independent local cafes in Northern Colorado. Our quaint shop collaborates with the local community to provide excellent quality coffee, tea, and both made-to-order and grab-n-go breakfast and lunch sandwiches and salads. Among our favorite drinks are our specialty lattes, boba teas, sweet chai, and smoothies. Current owners Amy & Matt live in the neighborhood and have been regular patrons since the inception of the shop back in 2002. The family and staff focus on exceptional & friendly service, making the shop feel welcoming and an extension of the community. We use local businesses like Silver Canyon Coffee for our beans, Morning Fresh Dairy for our milks, Consuelo's for our breakfast burritos. Additionally, we create baked goods daily at the shop. We have indoor seating, an upstairs loft, and an outdoor patio. Rounding out the business is the retail shop with walls filled with paintings, ceramics, leather, and other work by local shops and artists. If you’re looking for a great stop for an authentic, local Fort Collins coffee shop, stop in and enjoy some good cheer.
Editorial Review
Cups Community Coffee feels like the neighborhood living room — worn wood tables, a shady patio for slow afternoons, and a sunlit loft that students claim as their second home. Walk in and the team greets you by name; the owner mingles with regulars and local art hangs for sale on the walls. The menu is straightforward but sharp: house lattes that land every time, a playful Fort Lox smoked-salmon sandwich, boba drinks and handmade pastries. It’s casual enough for a rushed iced coffee to-go and comfortable enough for a three-hour study session upstairs. On weekends the patio fills with neighbors, midweek mornings the loft hums with laptops and quiet concentration. This is a community anchor on Fort Collins’ west side — not a tourist stop but the kind of place visitors remember because it introduced them to the city’s friendlier, creative face. Bring a laptop, bring a friend, or just sit and listen; Cups rewards lingering.
